Guest guest Posted February 15, 2004 Report Share Posted February 15, 2004 wow..all i have to say is..wow.... been having difficulties with our roomie as of late.... she is sorta late in paying bills.... she blew out power in half the house last month... she has yet to purchase toilet paper or dishwashing soap fer the house as of yet..and she has lived here at least 4 months... heck..she rarely even washes her own dishes, never mind anyone else... and lotsa little things....like it took me until a week ago to convince her to use the small bucket next the sink to put her compostable material in, and not just toss everything in the garbage....still working on the recyclin thing with her... but.. came home lat nite..and there were several boxes in the kitchen..with a note... the boxes were FULL of organic fruits and veggies...hordes of em.... and the note said basically..: here guys, take this stuff".. there are peppers, tomatoes, green beans, a myriad of squashes, cilantro, potaotes, citrus, apples, cabbages, etc...more stuff then i could refridgerate or even arrange on the kitchen counters enough bread to feed rome(which is sorta ironic, as my SO works at a bakery, and we always have more bread then i can eat ...) and there are even vegan cookies and cakes.. wow... guess ya just never know wot folks will do.... gonna have to spread the wealth amongst the neighbors,...can't let all this go to waste!!! much more then we eat, and its not gonna store but... wow fraggle Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
