Guest guest
Moving to San Francisco is the best thing that has ever happend to me. I've only been here for 2 months and im as happy as ever. It has been pretty hard for me to find a job though. I'd look into that before moving. And like you Fraggle, I hichhiked across the country in my early twenties. Started in Salt Lake City, Then going to San Francisco where I stayed for a month (that is when I fell in love with it), and stopped by a couple of Rainbow Gatherings on my way to Vermont where I got stuck for 3 months. That was 8 years ago and I finally made it back to SF. Do visit before moving, but I think you'll love it here. Goodluck!!!!! Guest guest
I'm glad you finally ended up where you wanted to be, Heidi! Do you find that the joy of living there outweighs the high cost of living? Thanks for all the support by the way! -Ashley Care2 make the world greener! Guest guest
The cost of living is definitly worth it. After growing up in Southern Utah, I'll pay anything to be in a place like SF. San Francisco was voted the #1 veg*n city by Peta. http://www.peta.org/feat/vegcities/crop1.html Good luck to you. I hope you make it here. Guest guest
Thanks for replying, Heidi It's good to hear that it's worth living there, despite the cost of living. This is definately becoming a great possibility. -Ashley Care2 make the world greener! Guest guest
> San Francisco was voted the #1 veg*n city by Peta. > http://www.peta.org/feat/vegcities/crop1.html Personally I would rate Seattle ahead of San Francisco (though this is just a British tourists opinion based on a brief amount of time in both cities) on vegan-ness, but it was also a lovely city and I hope to return some day.
