Guest guest
i, for no logical reason, just entered into a hunting chatroom to take some of it in, and within moments it became too much to handle. i was able to undermine one falsified demonstration of macho (with sheer knowledge of biology), but they just banter back and forth about who they've killed and how he or she tasted! they lie to one another (the old "fisherman's stretch" rang true for all of them), and it made me realize something harsh: there is a world of them out there, and they aren't going to be hindered. those people are stubborn beyond belief---nothing is more sacred to a hunter than her/his "right" to slaughter. now i've corrupted my happiness more tonight, having viewed that repugnant display. those people are my biggest fear; they are the only opposing party with the same strength conviction as mine. but they seem to band together more effectively, or at least have more of an air of "tradition" about them that society seems to identify with. WE****, on the other hand, are "radicals" and thusly eyed with suspicion or contempt. it's frightens me to think of the sway that party of life-stealers has. can they even be fought?? it is a long and grueling task before us....... ~~brii ****i don't want to speak for anyone else here, but i at least commonly incur this title p.s.- i wish all this determination and frustration and anger and compassion could combine to form something more effective than tears.
