SoCalVeg affiliated events: 1> 22-Nov-2003 (Sat) 6PM to 10PM (or later): Vegan Potluck in Northridge. (Free) 2> 27-Nov-2003 (Thu) 11AM to 3PM: Annual Vegan Thanksgiving Picnic in West Los Angeles. (Free) - SoCalVeg is likely to not be affiliated with below events. - 3> 26-Nov-2003 (Wed) 4PM to 9PM: Rawsheed's Vegan Thanksgiving Feast & fundraiser in Tarzana. (~$35) 4> VeganRadio 6PM on Sundays. 5> VegLA's monthly vegetarian potluck and social gathering for gays & lesbians in the LA area. 6> Jewish Vegetarians of Los Angeles meeting in Encino. First Sun of every month at 2PM. No meat, No dairy, No eggs, etc.) to share. If you are picking up some food / juice from a store then please read the ingredient list carefully. Bringing your own plates and utensils may save needless plastic waste. The events are free and we ask that you do not buy or sell products or services at the events. You are welcome and encouraged to introduce others to your activism / products / services. You do not have to RSVP. Just show up with / without other vegetarian / non-vegetarian friends / acquaintances. --- 1> Vegan Potluck in Northridge (Free): Maybe 20 (+/-10) people. Time: 6PM to 10PM (or later) (eat at 7PM). If you need to contact us on the day of the event then call 818-341-6153. --- 2> ANNUAL VEGAN THANKSGIVING PICNIC POTLUCK (Free) Once a year a lot of us get together to have a turkey friendly vegan thanksgiving picnic. It is an afternoon of fun and frolic featuring music, speakers, and some of the nicest people and organizations in or around Los Angeles. Maybe 100 (+/- 50) people. Time: 11AM to 3PM (main festivities start at noon). Thu, 27-Nov-2003. (In case of rain the event will be postponed by a year.) Place: Rancho Park, West Los Angeles (on Motor Ave, just South of Pico).
