Guest guest
Hey all, Just thought I would let you know I had a good idea. Just the one, lol. Anyway, the 21st was my 21st birthday, and I have had two 21sts of very good friends in the last little while too. So I decided to mark the time, ands I bought as all little saplings. They are Box Elder Maples, and about 1 1/2 foot high. They will stay in pots easily until we are all in our own houses, and them go into the ground. The idea is that by the time we are all getting on a bit, we will all have matching beautiful tress, and the hubbies have to make/buy us some benches to sit under them. Now lets just hope that I don't kill it before then! lol What do you guys think? You could do it for other stuff too - birth is traditional, but what about weddings, deaths (a friend gave Nan a camellia after Pa died. beautiful white one), etc? Thanks, 'Chelle, et al, minus five __ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here
Guest guest
Hi Chelle I think that is a lovely idea, the benches also. It will be a reminder of friends and friendship. We cannot buy any more trees for our garden. We have eleven that we bought to mark our special anniversaries, plus two which had been our Christmas trees and are now 30 ft high in the garden. I think it is a lovely thing to do. Jo - Chelle Whitaker Sunday, November 23, 2003 5:13 AM My birthday Hey all, Just thought I would let you know I had a good idea. Just the one, lol.
