vegan........correct???

aspartame is more er less vegan, as it is produced synthetically in a lab

but..a lot of folks have questions about the product, and there are some questions about its dangers

yes..stevia is good

there are also many organic sugars and the like on the market, sugar in the raw, turbinado sugar, etc, which are vegan

you can use maple syrup

lotsa sweetners

:)

Hi Anne

I believe aspartame is vegan, but it's very bad for you as it turns into formic acid and formaldehyde if left at room temperature - causing nerve damage, and ADHD etc. The only reason it is allowed on sale because either Dick Cheney or Donald Rumsfeld were head of the Food and Drug Administration when Novartis (?) wanted to bring it on the market. They happen to have business connections with that company.

As far as I am aware all sugar substitutes are bad for you, and implicated in bladder cancer.
