Guest guest
Simon, The answer to your question is ABSOLUTELY!!! I have come across many....many who have regretted choosing to have sex before they were ready.....many women who regretted choosing to not use contraception and put themselves at risk for not only pregnancy but other diseases as well (Sat through many weeks with my clients while they were fearful that their AIDS test came back positive...then you need to check the test again in six months.....which also causes massive anxiety)....and many woman who regretted choosing to take away a life growing inside them. In those situations....I talk about God's love and how to ask for forgiveness. "Technically" I am probably not supposed to talk about "God" with my job and jobs of my past (although thankfully it's never become an issue) and always just follow my instincts on if it's appropriate or not. I have been fortunate where I have witnessed my words help towards the healing process vs. make individuals feel more guilt. Also....one more thing. I have been amazingly blessed with both an adopted child and a birth child as well. Adoption is a very real option when your pregnant and unable to take care of a child. Adoptions nowadays don't have to be closed. You can have an open adoption -- and become as much as involved in the child's life as you and the adoptive parents agree. There are SOOOO many potential adoptive parents out there. You can be as choosy as you want -- and you would still get an enormous choice of parents that would do an amazing job of raising or help you raise, "your" child. OK.....I'm now in agreement....I'm fine with leaving this subject alone. Thank you to those who allowed me to give my opinion on human life and all life in general!
