Guest guest
Heidi, that bugs me too! Why oh why do you call yourself a vegan? It is something that has really been nagging at me.I work as a server in a restaurant that serves.... basicly nothing that I can eat. (I hate it so much). Anyhow a couple of months ago I was informed by one of my managers that another Vegan girl just got hired, so I would'nt be alone anymore. I was so excited until he said. "But what I thought was cool, is that she still tested out all of our side dishes, saying that she knows it's part of her job to try everything and she dosent have a problem doing it." I then said Well, she is Not a Vegan then. All of our sides have tons of dairy and a couple even have bacon. He thought I was just being snotty. Then as the days went by, I witnesed her "trying" the seafood special that the chef puts up for the servers to test out. And whyle we are eatting our server lunch before the restaurant opens(I always bring my own), she ALWAYS has some of the left over desert. All of our deserts have egg or dairy or both. When someone sais something about her being Vegan, I politely tell them that she is not a Vegan. She's not even Vegitarian. One person told me that She took a bite of someone elses burger. And said that she is Vegan, but that it dosent stop her from eatting what she wants. ??????????????????I keep thinking that I should tell her that I think it's great that she is LEANING towards a plant based diet, and if there is anything I can do to help, to let me know. I usually just stay away from her. She's anoying even besides that.I only have a month left at that restaurant and I am moving to San Fran. No more flesh houses for me.HeidiNo matter how far you have gone on the wrong road, turn back. -Turkish proverbFact: Each gallon of gas used by a car contributes almost 20 pounds of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. Guest guest
thats soo...I don't even know the word, she's obviously not vegan, I mean if she says I'm vegan but that doesn;t stop me from eatting what I want... if she was a vegan, she wouldn't want to eat the meat & food that contains dairy/eggs... odd character, heh.Surya Burdick <californiagnomes wrote: Heidi, that bugs me too!
