Guest guest
I caught part of some news broadcast and heard about this guy in New York City that was keeping a tiger and an alligator in his apartment. Now he's facing charges, and I hope he doesn't get let off. He said that the apartment was supposed to only be temporary as he wanted to go somewhere else. He was talking of how he wanted to create this " utopian " or " garden of eden " if you will. I thought this was so selfish to not only keep these animals trapped up, but to claim he was looking out for them. If this guy wanted to live amongst animals so badly I thought to myself he should just move to a jungle or forest. Even then I'm not sure that would be such a good idea. For the first time I'm seeing from a different side how things are and how I think they could be better, or at least different so it's more beneficial. I know I'm being judgmental right now, but I don't mean it to be hurtful or abusive. I would like to think as much as I judge that I can be just as compassionate or more so. They closed the story and said the tiger had been taken to a refugee out in Ohio. I wondered about who transported the animals and how they were taken care of though. Hopefully better things will come to those animals and that this guy won't be able to do something like this again.
Guest guest
That's absolutley awful... I sometimes feel very close minded because I just don't understand how some people could be so uncompassinate. ...Like sometimes, People will ask... "you're a vegan? ...what the hell is a vegan?!" ...So I kindly explain and after that I always get 1 of 2 responces ...1. that's great! or 2. why? ...when I get #2...I kindly explain my reasons and then I get 1 of 2 responces ...1. that's great! or 2. that's so stupid they're going to die anyways. ....That one really gets me heated...and then I tend to get a bit rude & deffensive. If everyone...or the majority at least became VEGETARIAN ... the animals wouldn't HAVE to die! Wake up... curelty is deffiently not the way. And in most cases I know if these people knew this cow, pig, chicken or any other animal that was sitting on their plate, they would think twice about eatting it. ...arrgh. I'm probably not makeing much sence & just rambling... it just makes me so mad. So I shall go now,he. Take Care, ...a rather angry ...Sam.pythonrat <nospam wrote: I caught part of some news broadcast and heard about this guy in New York City that was keeping a tiger and an alligator in his apartment.
