The Ann Wigmore Natural Health Institute (AWI) is a non-profit school

dedicated to teaching Ann Wigmore's Living Foods Lifestyle®. Located

on the western shore of Puerto Rico, our institute is 50 yards from

AWI seeks a self motivated person with a 4-year related degree or an

associate degree and/or equivalent work experience to join our

management team.

 

As a non-profit school, the salaries are low, but the quality of the

The management level position will report to the Executive Director.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of management experience, and

experience with eco-sustainable practices and systems. Bi-lingual,

English and Spanish, preferred but not essential. All management l

positions at AWI must attend the 2-week certification course in the

Living Foods Lifestyle prior to beginning employment. All employees

begin as “Temporary or Probationary†employees for a 3-month period.

 

The Business Manager is responsible for guiding the AWI toward

achievement of financial goals. It is in the business manager's job to

manage workers effectively toward these goals, and also to compile and

present information on the team's progress. He or she will be focused

on core deliverables such as completing an organizational financial

analysis, data analysis, and organizational budgeting.

 

Positions Reporting to Business Manager: Bookkeeper, Accountant,

Bookstore Manager, and Information & Technology Provider.

 

Requirements:

o Excellent management skills.

o Knowledge of holistic health and natural healing.

o Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects.

o Solid knowledge of computer use and software such as Word and Excel.

o Knowledge of organizational financial statements and data.

o Expert knowledge in communicating in both written and verbal form.

o Knowledge of team building / mentorship.

o Management / business background is required. Five years experience

in related leadership experience in a team environment in lieu of a

Bachelor’s or Masters degree is required.

o Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is preferred.

o Experience with not-for-profit business is preferred.
