Guest guest
17 " .4. In all states of impaired health (acute and chronic disease and wounds) the physiological needs of life (air, water, food, sunlight, activity, temperature, rest, sleep) must be supplied in keeping with the ability of the body to appropriate and use them. When more rest and lessened activity is required, rest is provided. If peace and quiet are required, rather than activity and excitement, peace and quiet are provided. If there is reduced ability to digest and assimilate food, less food is supplied. If there is a complete suspension of the ability to digest food, as in acute disease or in severe pain, no food is given. " Dr. Herbert M.
