When you begin, 3 days a week is enough. Work up to 4 or 6 days, with one full rest day. Simple, brisk walking is a good starting conditioner. Later, you can gradually work into more vigorous exercises. Slow starting helps prevent muscle strain. A 5 - 10 minute warm-up is a must before any vigorous movements. START NOW!
