If we expect the time will come when sickness and early death will be

uncommon, we must have in view some means by which this end is to be brought

about: for now there is not a neighborhood, and scarcely a family, which has

not its invalid, or a hearth without its empty chair. The first thing to be

done is To Teach The People that their life and health are put in their own

keeping - and that sickness never comes without a cause but is always the

consequence of violation of the laws which regulate the human constitution.
