AS HYGIENISTS, WE HAVE MUCH TO DO! GREAT RESPONSIBILITIES REST UPON US. IF

WE ARE TO FULFILL OUR OBLIGATIONS, WE MUST BECOME TEACHERS OF THE PEOPLE!!!

We must dispel the darkness of ignorance and superstition with the glorious

sunlight of Truth. We must spread a true knowledge of the laws which govern

our being. As Hygienists, we battle against darkness and ignorance,

superstition and time-honored errors, venerable follies and false opinions,

pernicious customs and depraved appetites!
