Guest guest
Hi Janet, Trish, et. al., This scanning approach would work well if people routinely updated subject lines to reflect the actual content of their posts. Unfortunately ... Regarding moderation, this (Raw Food) group has repeatedly been the location of all sorts of flaming. The recent round with Laurie Forti was one of the worst, but this has and likely will recur, since there is no active moderation. In fairness to the moderators/owner of this list, there is some problem accessing the account, which they are attempting to get to fix. If cannot or will not, then honestly I'll probably just start using the Going Raw group, as it's only a matter of time before all heck breaks loose in any large, unmoderated group. That might help. I often scan for topics I'm interested in, and only read those messages. Regarding the two groups, I think as long as people self-moderate themselves, both of the groups will be fruitful. However, experience tells me that eventually someone will come along...
