Hi Louise,

the custard sounds good.

Actually my kids all played with wooden toys and blocks for the most

part.(and pots & pans)

We were very interested in Waldorf education

so when they were little about 3 andsuch they had more natural type toys.

I believe in the philosophy the simpler the better for wee ones since

their own imagination is so rich

Plastic anything canbe overwhelming until maybe age 6 and 7 and then

it depends on the child-

We joke that we went from the wooden era to the plastic era in our family

Having said that some largersize legos are fine I guess

The team uses

for competition and such but they have all used

the simpler toys

I am in this for the way it involves the mind on many levels

After lego season is over we start Theater!!!

Have not decided what yet

My son wants to do a production of Hamlet but I think itis too

ambitious unless he rewrites it

Roller skating or bowling?

Go girl!!!
