Guest guest
He presents NO " reasoning " , just unsubstantiated erroneous statements about scientific topics; yet, he could not pass an 8th grade science quiz. This kind of erroneous nonsense propagated by raw foodists has cast a heavy pall over the 'movement', if one exists. Raw Foodists are considered the weirdos amongst, get this, -other diet cultists- due to this idiotic nutribabble; like 'living enzymes " , 'pre-digested foods', 'superfoods'This k Laurie I am not a scientist but I have lost 80lbs by eating a high-raw diet. I believe that heat changes food the way water boils when a flame is put under it. It makes more sense to me to believe that foods have enzymes than to believe food is dead. It just seems more logical. Pre-digested foods I assume refer to breaking down the fiber in food, for example, in a blender. This also makes sense to me. When older people get sick, they don't wolf down heavy, greasy goods. They eat apple sauce and soups because they are lighter on their tummies. Superfoods I believe is a just a term coined to indicate a food which happens to have alot of nutrients literally making us feel good or " super " . I certainly don't consider myself a weirdo and feel it's insulting to assume raw foodists are. One could argue that people that eat dead pigs are weird. It's all a matter of perspective.
