Several questions: Remodeling Kitchen (for raw food!)

I am so excited that we are remodeling our 1971 kitchen after living

in this home we have bought for several years and not having touched

the kitchen yet.

I have several questions I'm hoping one of you kind folks out there

can help me with--

I am hoping to get an Excalibur dehydrator. What size do you all

have? I don't want one that's bigger than necessary. I am trying

to build some sort of storage area for it.

Also, I am tired of tomatoes, avocadoes, garlic and onions on my

countertop. Should these be kept in the fridge? If not, I was

thinking of building a drawer under the countertop that pulled out

to store these in. The door could be made out of wire mesh to give

them some air.

Thanks for any tips!

Hi Beth,

I have the biggest Excalibur, and a lot of times when I dry stuff, it

is full, so I would recommend the big one. You may want to consider

putting it in your basement though, instead of your kitchen, because

you may get sick of listening to the thing run all day!
