Newbie question...which foods should NOT be eaten raw?

The human organism does not digest starch particularly well, the source

(potato or otherwise) matters not.

The human organism does not express attraction to starch IN AND OF ITSELF.

(We are attracted to all the stuff we put ON the starch.)

Other than these, no reasons.

But then, the human organism does not digest onions well, nor does it

receive salt or pepper well, either.

Elchanan

[Raw Food] Re: Newbie question...which foods should NOT be eaten

raw?

.... i don't know if there is a reason to NOT eat potatoes (does anyone know

if there is?) ... but i've always had periodic raw potato " cravings " ...

including when i was pregnant ... a few months ago i was wanting something

that i

couldn't really put my finger on ... sliced raw potato, topped by sliced raw

onion and a little bit of salt and pepper satisfied whatever that was ...

I have heard of some people eating raw potatoes... it's not many, but more power

to you if it satisfied you.

Yeah, I don't know anyone that eats raw potatoes. I HAVE heard of people who

slice them, dehydrate them, then blend them and make a " mashed potato " dish,

raw. TOO MUCH WORK, though. And I'm not sure how healthy it is. If you have

to have potatoes, just cook them. But I like mashed potatoes with

CAULIFLOWER, anyways. Erica
