Guest guest
Carol et all: I am working in Afghanistan on development projects that include searching for viable agricultural options for Afghan farmers. Raw almonds, to supply the U.S. market, might be a viable option. The good news is that plenty of farmers here have raw, organic almond orchards. The bad news is that 3 decades of war and neglect have taken a toll on the upkeep of these orchards. While I, personally, would have no financial stake in this, I would like to help all parties involved by connecting one or more high quality U.S. raw almond producer(s) with my contacts here in Afghanistan. Could anybody recommend to me the names & contact information of decent raw organic almond producers? Many thanks in advance, Marc rawfood , " Carol Minnick " <carol wrote: > > What is everyone doing now that we can't get raw almonds any longer? Guest guest
Don't have the contacts but sounds great to help the farmers and reclaim current growth. Sounds like some Permaculture might work there also.
