The first Mango of the summer, mmmm.

 

Joy is watching my boy's face as he devours his first mango, hehe.

 

I'd told him I just wanted him to have one taste (he's often reluctant to try

new foods, even yummy ones that he ends up loving). I took the lid off the

container (it had been cut up the night before), and inhaled the gorgeous scent,

then offered it to him to sniff. He got a little on the end of his nose when he

sniffed the mango, so he wiped it off with a finger and put it in his mouth.

Then his eyes lit up!

 

I think I got about 3 bites of the mango we were " sharing " , hehe. I can see the

family brawl at christmas (my brother, my mother, and I, and now my boy, are all

mango lovers). I just hope my tree bears as many this year as it did last year,

and doesn't lose too many to the storms this week.
