Guest guest
Erica, ___ I'm curious, therefore, for you to list the principles of Natural Hygiene you disagree with. I look forward to your answer. ___ I do not recall saying that I disagree with any NH principles in particular. I do hold some different beliefs than INDIVIDUALS who do consider themselves affiliated with the label " natural hygiene " . But these are individuals, not a monolith. NH means many things, over the generations. I identify with some authors and their teachings, I do not identify as closely with those of others. NH has never been a monolithic body of work. Rather, it's evolved more as a school of thought, with contributions for more than a century from various people adding their own perspectives. And certainly, what those who took over the association (I am so disconnected from it, I can't even think of the name right now) teach has little at all to do with anything I would ever do or teach. Also, there is more to life than health!!! I live my life out of a profoundly deep and rich sense of calling. Watch where some of us go during the years ahead, that'll be the best way to learn who we are and what we stand for. And if you wish, check out post #29792 in the archive. In that post, I share quite openly about myself, about who I am and how I live. Best, Elchanan _____ rawfood [rawfood ] On Behalf Of Erica Sunday, October 28, 2007 2:54 PM rawfood [Raw Food] Question For Elchanan based on his post re: Labels Elchanan, You said you do not consider yourself an Natural Hygienist. You indicated you don't believe in labels, etc. I totally 100% agree with that. Understanding NH and it's principles, plus with your referencing to NH often, I personally naturally related you most to that diet/lifestyle based on your views. I'm curious, therefore, for you to list the principles of Natural Hygiene you disagree with. I look forward to your answer. Erica

Like if I didn't call myself a vegan, just someone who doesn't support eating, wearing, experimenting on or exploiting animals for entertainment.
