Guest guest
I couldn't agree more with your last statement. That's why I send no business there. Lie down with ..... well, you know. But this pales in comparison to the coup d'etat Brian Clement pulled when he edged Ann Wigmore out of her own Hippocrates Health Institute... I agree that that was/is shameful. Erica
Guest guest
For those of us new to this style of life, could you elaborate on this or point us to where we can find out what happened here? Guest guest
> For those of us new to this style of life, could you elaborate on this or point us to where we can find out what happened here? > > Marsh Brian was on the board at the original HHI in Boston with Dr. Ann. He essentially learned all the knowledge she had, but then kept scheduling her more and more to be out of the country, etc, teaching. He gained control of the board and she came home finally to no institute, one day. She was so loving she wasn't mad. She's a better woman than me, LOL! It was snake-like and awful. He know has a very prominent HHI in Florida. Incidentally, Viktoras is a loving heart and was Ann's sidekick for a long time... he and Brian are best friends!? So, while Brian started his business awfully long ago, it has taken me a long time to even consider sending people there. The thing is, he truly has the best institute, and he truly does his research. Viktoras obviously likes him, so there must be some sort of good in him, esp. b/c Vik was friends with both. But here's the deal: I definitely believe that character matters, but between my friend and I, we have been to all the institutes. They all suck! I would much rather send people who are ill to a professionally run, well-educated and updated institute where they will never KNOW Brian's past b/c they are professional enough to not discuss it, versus a craphole where they will die - even though nobody did anything that awful. I have never met anybody who didn't do something they regretted or knew wasn't right, etc, at some point. Brian Clements, even in debate, is never riled, always backed by research, and calm and not rude. He is not threatened by other people's paths that they teach, etc. He does walk it like he talks it and his book is wonderful. Professional, entertaining/interesting, and well- supported. It discusses emotions and every other topic, but not overwhelmingly so (Dr. Ann's books are bo-ring!) It is by far, to me, the best overview on the lifestyle. As far as what to eat daily and menus, it isn't great for that, but this is the one I give people as a fgift (like when my aunt got colon disease, etc) and I always will. It is awesome! :-) Erica
Guest guest
I have not ever known Erica before recently entering this forum but her recounting of the events concerning Brian Clements, Ann Wigmore and the Hippocrates Institute are exactly as I have known them to be. Through the years I have been bothered by Viktoras's ongoing association with Brian; and though it was evident that Brian gained increased credibility just by having any association with Viktoras I just assumed (and hoped) that it was beneficial for Viktoras as well. While at CHI I was lucky enough to work with and be close to Dr. Ann's best friend, Loretta, for many months. To this day she gets angry talking about it. I do like Brian's book. I hate that I do at times until I consider the pretty capitalistic motives of so many others.... Peace, ERica
