Guest guest
Yes, exactly Janet. No one is advocating (in this particular thread) any form of blindness. In fact, quite the opposite is the case: what you are saying, what we all are saying, is that when we choose to eat and live in certain ways, our awareness, both within and without, expand substantially. We require no tests ... there are NO animals in Nature that require tests in order to thrive. Heck, a century ago there were almost no tests, as we conceive of them today. All this reliance upon " test and fix, test and fix " , such as some suggest below and elsewhere, is about nothing other than fear and about selling stuff to people who have no earthly idea what they are really buying, or why. Nobody needs all these tests, nobody needs all these products. Some people may BELIEVE they need to SELL these tests and products to make a living or the like. But that is another matter entirely. The so-called " knowing " you gain is far less informative than you think. Most of the tests are wrong, many are quite destructive, they are ALL normed on a very sick population, for the most part they provide snapshots and not any sense of movement (change) or direction. And in the presence of some test result and diagnosis, you are still left with this choice: Do I treat whatever symptoms they've " diagnosed " , or do I simply go forward and create health as best I can? This does not change. Further, for the VERY healthy, there are some specific reasons NOT to get tested. Why? Because for many tests, the results for the very sick and for the very healthy can be remarkably similar. For example, the first test for " AIDS " is a simple blood test. If the white count is too low, then you are a candidate for another, more comprehensive " AIDS " test. The problem? If you are VERY healthy, then your white blood cell count will ALSO be very low ... around the same range as the results that are purported to suggest the presence of " AIDS " . Given the insanity raging in the courts and whatnot, no very healthy person in his/her right mind would EVER submit to such tests. And if you DO get tested and you DON'T get such results, then you're not nearly as healthy as you think you are. Since changing my diet to raw vegan, I have not been eager to go to a doctor and get tested for that which I already know. I already know that I feel much better and I am building good health. To have blind faith in your theory to the point where you won't test it seems odd.
