Guest guest
In that case, I trust that you can indeed understand that the blending is irrelevant! I drink it like its wheat grass: slowly, holding, salivating, etc and I'm still hungry DURING and after finishing it. This is solved by an ancient, time-honored mechanism called " Chew-Ing " . No machine can ever substitute for this ancient practice. > Chewing, holding the food in the mouth, signals the system about what is coming. The digestive system then has time to set up and works far more effectively than otherwise. I mean, imagine calling a meeting and planning the agenda when everyone arrives. That's roughly analogous to what you're doing. Elchanan
Guest guest
" What you describe is likely a signaling problem. " " The article below is a good reminder, but doesn't address the insane hunger and cravings I get when I partake in GS---I dont get that with green juice. Maybe this only happens to me.... " I think it was Gandhi, not sure, but the saying " DRINK YOUR FOOD AND CHEW YOUR LIQUIDS " - is that how it goes? - comes to find. Nobody said not to hold the smoothie in your mouth and let it mix with the saliva. I do that with juices, too (when I remember). Guzzling is never good. Guest guest
I'm still hungry DURING > and after finishing it. You are clearly not drinking enough. My smoothies are huge and I nurse them. About 3 quarts a day when doing them. I use banana or mango, cherries or oj, and greens, parsley, and usually young coconut water and meat. They are ridiculously good and filling. If you are still hungry, you are not drinking enough and they are too thin, etc. And blending increases assimilation. It's very relevant!
