I did successfully make the juice and it was a simple matter of dropping in a few slim slices of ginger amongst the pieces of carrot. And the carrots were not difficult to juice despite a manual juicer being used. I have not had fresh ginger in several years, so the first taste was overwhelming, (in a WOW, beautiful manner) and delightfully surprising.
