We'd be inventing our own little sublanguage, which, in my experience, works really well for a few months at most. 2. " Standard " reflects that the percentages of CPF used to describe the SAD are statistical norms. 3. Common American Diet (CAD), the acronym is well-used for Computer-Aided Design. Hmmm ... Of course, " common " WOULD convey that we are having a conscious thought, and .... well, that would be rather radical, don't you think?
