Hi Erica,

First, thank you for your kind message! I sense you are correct, that we all

probably agree on many things. And, thank you for your kind words about my

post.

Regarding " Lyme Disease " (no " s " on " Lyme " ), most of the suffering people

experience is caused by the drugs doctors administer. I have known/heard of

situations were doctors were administering as many as 18 different drugs at

the same time to a single patient, all justified by this one diagnosis.

We must all remember that the purpose of a diagnosis, in the medical

industry, is to define and release payment for an experimental treatment.

(By definition, ALL their treatments are experimental, because they don't

work, they all create harmful " side effects " , and ongoing reporting is

required, without exception. If something were actually accepted as " safe " ,

then it would come out from all the regulation ... as is the case with many

products!!)

Regarding Lyme itself, the solution is fasting, not food, and any good

hygienic practitioner or teacher would readily say this. I would not suggest

fruits to someone so bitten ... fasting does the trick for this pesky tick!!

BTW, fasting also works for all the " incurable " STDs and for MANY other

things!!! THE ISSUE IS NEVER ONE OF TREATMENT, BUT RATHER ONE OF

SUFFICIENTLY DEEP AND SUSTAINED SYSTEMIC REST. Until people come to

comprehend the relationship between rest and well-being, they will continue

to flail about, turning their attention uselessly from one treatment to

another, always in vain.

PRINCIPLE FOR VIBRANT LIVING:

Every part of our being cleanses, restores, and replenishes itself to the

best of its ability, based upon its available energy and other resources.

In other words, it's all a matter of energy and and other resources

(nutrients and the like). And what are the primary determinant of energy?

Rest, fuel received, and energy consumed. That's " REST " at the head of the

list.

We shall simply have to agree to disagree on medical testing. Occasionally

very valuable, for the most part scares people without reason. SO many of

the tests are just plain wrong, either because, for example, a blood test

cannot tell what's going on in cells (B12), or because the test is normed on

a sick population, or for MANY other reasons.

If we continue to choose to think inside the medical model, inside the world

of running around gathering data about and naming our symptoms, then we are

doomed to a lifetime of, well, just that. OTOH, if we change our paradigm

and embrace healthful living, than almost 100% of what ails us resolves all

by itself, over time. And THEN ... if something does remain ... we can

address it. But to try and isolate one symptom that MIGHT not be

self-induced, while still living with hundreds of symptoms that ARE

self-induced, is an entirely futile activity, and one for which no medical

test is designed.

Best,

Elchanan

I agree with your post at large. Great post. I think, overall, we all

probably agree on more than we disagree with. However, let's look at Lymes.

The Lymes spirochete. It is estimated that up to 50% of the people are

infected with it. You can go raw until the cows come home, I've seen people

do this, and they feel so much better they believe they are healing. And yet

their lymes count is still astronomically high. Without the use of Samento,

an herb, or other natural

treatments, these people would have lymes for life. This is why medical

testing is so important, as well as an open-mind. Fortunately, my friend(s)

care about regaining their health, not being able to say, " I'm a natural

hygienist " , so they are healing. Were it the other way, they'd have Lymes

for life. This is after

following a low-fat, non-gourmet raw foods diet for a few years at least,

and after numerous fasts, including supervised water fasting.
