Guest guest
HI there, I imagine the recipe below tastes great ... but the request was for a low-fat recipe. This is a high-fat recipe. 3 cups of sunflower seeds, more than 800 calories, 73% from fat. 1 cup raisins, 500 calories, 1% from fat. (Dates similar.) Therefore, this recipe is nearly 50% fat, as percent of calories. FYI, all these data come from The 80/10/10 Success Guide, Laurie Masters' new publication, available at <outbind://2467/www.GreenSongPress.com> www.GreenSongPress.com or from Dr. Graham at <http://foodnsport.com/max2/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=20 & products_id=16 4> http://foodnsport.com/max2/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=20 & products_id=164 .. Source: USDA nutrient database, release 19 (current release). Best to all, Elchanan _____ yOkO Lau [tamotsukakei] Tuesday, October 09, 2007 12:12 PM rawfood Re: [Raw Food] apple pie Fruit Seed Pie Crust Crust for a 9 inch pie INGREDIENTS: 3 c sunflower seeds, soaked (sesame seeds is also good to try) 1 c dates or raisins, pitted (any date is good except bread dates) METHODS: Put the above through a Champion juicer or food processor.
