Guest guest
Yes, Susan, this is correct. in the presence of one of these cleanses, the first thing the body MUST cleanse is the cleanse itself. That said, often these cleanse programs call for increased water consumption and decreased caloric consumption. In this case, some additional cleansing of the system may occur. But if so, then it occurs on a systemic basis, not confined to the digestive system, in accordance with the body's priorities, not those the cleanse attempts to impose upon the body. All those photos people show do indeed display material that came out of people's colons. The problem is that people do not have the knowledge to interpret what they are seeing. Since you have had the opportunity to look inside your own colon, quite literally, you have a level of information and therefore awareness that most, other than surgeons and surgical nurses, do not have. What you saw is exactly what they report seeing. If they did not so report 100% of the time, to my knowledge, then I would not write so strongly on this point. But 100% is a rather remarkable reporting rate for any manner of observation! Sorry! Also I have had 2 colonoscopies and saw pictures afterwards of a very clean pink bowel after taking a liquid laxative the night before. So I have a hard time believing my bowels are full of mucoid plaque. Susan
