Guest guest
Janet, I give only to those who are ready, willing, and able to receive what I have to give now. Just a reminder ... Elchanan _____ rawfood [rawfood ] On Behalf Of Joe Postma Friday, September 21, 2007 9:25 AM rawfood [Raw Food] OT: promoting meat....was Re: Vores I am going to say this one last time Janet. I DIDN'T ADVOCATE IT. Advocating something means saying you SHOULD eat something. Advocating something means RECOMMENDING you eat something. I didn't do that, ever. If you would read my posts, instead of sensationalizing your own position, and inventing one for me, you would understand that my position is IF YOU DO partake of a " bad " food for whatever reason - i.e., social, emotional, a craving...you know, all the things that REAL people go through daily and HAVE a difficult time with - then the raw eating you're doing the rest of the time is still a great accomplishment and will still give you many if not all the health benefits of 100% raw. And practically, if my mate bought me chocolates for my birthday, I am going to accept the love she gave me and let her see me enjoy them! A few darned chocolates once a year isn't going to hurt you...there's no need to live in fear of that. Look, this place is not for " experts " to debate " gurus " about exact percentages of this or that or whatever. That is SO pointless, and extremely boring and incredibly annoying. Let's instead talk to the new people and give them guidelines and recommendations and support for going raw, realizing that we all went through a transition at some point and were NOT 100% raw right away. That is, of course, if the new people aren't too quickly spirited away by other economic forces. So, let us try, from now on, to see the VAST similarities in our posts, rather than focus on the MINUTE differences and make such a negative deal out of them.
