Guest guest
Yes, Janet, I agree and have said so many times. We all possess a certain potential, and we possess the capacity to choose the outcomes we desire. Then, we may choose whatever course of action seems to support our achieving those outcomes. For example, whenever we suggest to people that they eat whole foods, we are never saying it is wrong to do otherwise. We are only saying that, over time, we are all likely to achieve better results, in terms of health and vitality, by eating whole foods than by eating otherwise. But people may value some things, such as pleasure/gratification now, socializing in a certain way or with certain people, " convenience " , and the like equally with or more than the value health and vitality. That is just choice-making, nothing more or less. Pretty straightforward, to me! Best, Elchanan PS I changed the subject line, as the old one seems obsolete in the conversation. _____ rawfood [rawfood ] On Behalf Of Janet FitzGerald Friday, September 21, 2007 9:11 AM rawfood [Raw Food] Re: We Have Minorities - revisited I think it's important to understand that there is a continuum of health and optimal choices. For instance, I know that eating a whole food in it's natural form is better than eating it processed (smoothie), or further processed (juiced). This does not mean that benefits cannot be reaped from the food in those processed states. Quite the contrary. Janet
