WRT = " with respect to " Internet acronym. Sorry. :)

Hi Jackie,

It must be very challenging for you, holding certain understandings that you

deeply believe could help your husband Ken, yet seemingly unable to use what

you know. I have known many people, myself among them, who have experienced

watching loved ones live in great discomfort, and eventually die, in some

cases, knowing how to help, yet unable to help.

We cannot give what another will not receive from us. We can give empathy,

we can try to connect with the feelings underneath the resistance. I imagine

Ken might be very fearful, experiencing the steady erosion of his own

vitality, feeling a rising sense of powerlessness as he " loses control " .

Perhaps relating in terms of these things is what you can do, for the

moment.

Best,

Elchanan

Thank you Elchanan,

I understand fully what you are saying especially the emotions tied to the

heart...unfortunetly, each person has their own free will to change/heal.

Although Ken goes along with me on the food end of things, it doesn't matter

how much I tell him it's a mind, body, spirit healing that he needs, he just

doesn't get it or try to. It is difficult to see hime go through this

tough, we've been married 24 years...

Oh yeah, what is " WRT diet " ?
