Guest guest
Neal, this makes no sense to me. Sulfur a " building block " ?? I don't think so!! Sulfur, in TINY quantities, is an essential nutrient. Sulfur in larger quantities (such as those found in animal flesh) acidifies and therefore devastates the human body. Enzymes are a subset of proteins. Proteins are characterized by movement. The movement of enzymes is to break down (digest) or build up things. I mean, that is ALL that enzymes do, by design. Scientists have identified more than 3000 different metabolic enzymes used in the human body. Of these, about 2 dozen are thought of as " digestive enzymes " . Why any of this has special implications for one muscle group (heart), I do not comprehend. You may want to get this verified, but my understanding is that high sulfur foods would also be good as sulfur is the basic substance the body uses for building material. there is this though; http://en.wikipedia <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methionine> ..org/wiki/Methionine neal. Guest guest
What the doctor told us was that proteins rebuild, so Ken must not be assimilating the protein he's eating, hence the protease supplements. I'm not a doctor, natural or otherwise so I'm not sure about any of this...only thing I know is that 100% raw is helping. And having this group is helping...thanks to all. ~jackie rawfood [rawfood ]On Behalf Of Elchanan Tuesday, September 18, 2007 2:07 AM rawfood [Raw Food] Enzymes ...
