Guest guest
At Tue, 18 Sep 2007 it looks like loulin3 composed: > Oh yea - water everyday too. > Be careful not to overwater for it causes grass roots to " dive " deep and you'll actually make the grass spend it's resources in root growth and not blade growth. That practice is actually encouraged for that exact reason when planting new sod for lawns. I have had my own wheatgrass farm for quite some time now and I'm working on trying to " refine/define " or just identify what causes certain trays of grass to yield massive " juice-per-blade " vs the normal amounts. Sometimes, when all the trays look the same, one tray of wheatgrass will yield so much more juice when I've done everything the same for all the trays... It's not a big issue but there has not been one gardener who I have asked who has any clue as to why. They actually look at me like I'm a nut. Once you get started with growing it takes on it's own momentum. From the first moment you set the seeds to " soak " to the time you drink the wheatgrass is ten(10) days. http://wiliweld.com/grow/grass.html -- " Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
