Guest guest
Hi Erica I agree with everything you say. Again I am unfortunately being labeled a meat-eating promoter!! This all started from a stance of saying that if you wish to consume meat very occasionally, it should be fine for you and don't worry especially if you eat lots of raw! Thats all. Enjoy some life, don't be so hard on yourself and others and all that sort of jazz. Think of the difference it would make if all people could be talked into eating meat only 15% of their diet. What a HUGE difference that would make! Now think of getting all people to stop eating meat completely, and how IMPOSSIBLE that practically is! The moderate approach is better than the fanatical one in practice. If I let someone know that yes, raw is wonderful for you, but they're worried about missing " bad " foods, well I am happy to tell them they can still treat themselves occasionally and they will still be making a HUGE difference for their own health and ultimately the health of the planet. Unfortunately some fanatics (not you) twist my words and then lose their own mental capacity...I think it is an addictive way of thinking. But hey, that's par for the course of humanity! You know, coffee is WAAAAAAAAAAAY worse for your health than meat, and I am sure many raw-ers enjoy coffee occasionally. Let's talk about that actually...how many raw-ers don't eat meat for health but drink coffee? That's doing much more damage than meat eating! Actually Joe, I think that is a good idea. After I stopped eating meat, around 3 - 6 months I decided or had a taste for pork pie with some salad. Oh man! did I suffer! LOL It's like when I gave up smoking, after a week I gave in and had a single cigarette, OMG! It really was a good 'body' reminder of how awful it is and I found the same with the pork pie. But as regards the whole world giving up meat, I don't see that kind of epiphany happening (unless 2012 of course) neal.
