Guest guest
In our culture, there are many myths about " getting what we need " . Here are a few: - We DON'T need a hundred different foods. Not per meal, per day, per year. - We DON'T need much protein or fat. In fact, too much is harmful, and quickly so. - We DON'T need cleanses. Every living cell, every living creature cleanses itself, by design ... to whatever degree that creature lives in accordance with its design. Here are some basic principles for creating sustainable health: - We can only create health from the inside, out, one day at a time. - WRT diet, we need high-quality foods, preferably grown in diverse locations. Let this be a primary source of variety in our diet. - How we live and what we believe determines, with the exception of severe exogenous influences, the state of our health. - Our entire being sits poised, ready, willing and able to begin cleaning house at the drop of a hat. We need only drop the hat by improving something .... ANYTHING ... about the way we live and/or believe (and with a particular emphasis upon subconscious beliefs). - A healthful diet requires no supplementation. A diet that requires supplementation should be improved, not touched up around the edges. - What creates health, sustains health. Only the proportions vary with present vitality, or capacity to perform certain acts. - We are both identical and unique, at the same time. We are identical in terms of our design, and unique in terms of our experience and perceptions. The same approach to diet works for us all. Different approaches to restoring our psyche work individually, one person at a time. In my experience, I have never known anyone with an unhealthy heart who did not struggle 24x7 with serious emotional challenges ... with diminished self-love, among other things. To create a healthy heart, address issues of the heart. Make sense? Hubby just went to the library to get the 80/10/1 book. How do you feel about supplementation or what raw foods to support the heart...trying to keep my husband from getting a heart transplant! So far on 100% raw he is doing well with increased energy. We had a natropath tell us to use enzymes that digest proteins...so they can rebuild his heart. Thanks for all your help. ~ Jackie
