Guest guest
Hi Kat, Great questions. I do not perceive any of this as a mystery at all. The farther we roam from the habitat for which we are ideally designed, the more challenging life becomes. From such challenges arises great ingenuity and inventiveness. And equally, from such challenges arises a sense of adversity with Nature, a separation from Nature's design. And so we see clearly our inventiveness, our creativity, our denial, our harshness, all at the same time. I guess all in all the Eskimo compared to one on a plant based diet does not live as long. Interesting. Also the fact that they are forced to fast during times when there is no food as earlier mentioned- perhaps this keeps them from getting disease? I also wonder if living in such a freezing environment, working so hard for food and not having enough sunshine play a part in their life span as well. Or perhaps it is mainly the lack of raw veggies and fruits and too much protein or a little of both? I guess it is kind of is a mystery..... Guest guest
Hello Kat, When you get a chance to read Dr. Howell's book the mystery will be solved. The secret is in the enzymes. We waste our metabolic enzymes by eating cooked food or non organic foods that have been irradiated, full of pesticides etc. We need to preserve our precious enzyme bank by eating enzyme rich foods, end of story. I personally supplement my enzyme bank by taking systemic enzymes and digestive enzymes in conjuction with eating mostly raw sprouted foods. I have been doing this for almost three years and the diffrence is incredible. I feel as if thought I have rejuvinated about 20 years. Get the book and read it, it will change your life.
