Join us for the second annual SimplyRaw Festival and Pie Contest,

sponsored by the Table, on Saturday, Sept 15, from 10-5pm in Central

Park, Ottawa. This non-profit community event will feature seminars

with Brendan Brazier (pro vegan ironman, author & Vega creator); Matt

Monarch (author & international speaker); Angela Stokes (author and

raw activist); and Dorit (living foods chef and Raw Film Festival

organizer); food and sprouting demos, live music, activities for

kids, yoga and lots of food sampling. Admission is free.

 

Adrian Harewood of CBC's All in A Day will be emceeing the SimplyRaw

Festival and pie contest. The pie contest will be judged by a panel

of local celebrities, including Ron Eade (Ottawa Citizen Food

Editor); Julie Van Dusen (CBC News); Leanne Cusack (CTV News); Gerry

LePage (Ex. Dir. Bank St. Business Improvement); Robert Fife (CTV

News) & Louise Crosby (Ottawa Citizen). Pie samples will be offered

to the public after judging.

 

Come out, bring a blanket, enjoy the festivities and indulge your

taste buds with wildly creative foods. An unforgettable experience for
