Kleber,

I did not say that things that grow underground are " not good for

us " .Rather, I spoke in much more specific, refined terms.

I said that these are not optimal foods for us. Nature has designed certain

animals with a specific anatomy optimized for finding and recovering

vegetables. from under the ground. In biology, these animals are called

" grubbers " .

I said that we humans do not digest starch very well, and that starch does

not combine well with any other food type. No amount of quoting from

someplace can ever change that. If you don't believe me, just stop eating

all these items for a couple of months, then eat some. You'll see ...

they'll feel VERY heavy inside you!

Or, don't do such an experiment. You'll feel " fine " ... and you'll also

never discover your full potential.

So you see, from my perspective this is a discussion about discovering and

fulfilling the fullness of our potential.

Best,

Elchanan

[Raw Food] Re: ELCHANAN carrot juicing?

I received this message about beet juice and it can add some heat to the

discussion about carrot juice. I just don~t anderstand why something that

grows underground shouldn~t be good for us. Macrobiotics says carrots,

beets,

onions etc are very good for us.
