My VistaPrint Electronic Business CardHi everyone ~

I'm relatively new to raw foods and am going out of town next week. I'm

looking for a recipe for an easy raw food bar, trail mix and also how do you

take along raw salad dressing since I'll be eating at restaurants with my

friends.

Any ideas for on the go food would be appreciated.

Thanks ~ Jackie

Hi Jackie,

I asked my brother for advice as he is a chef and actually worked at

Pure Food and Wine, an amazing and raw restaurant in New York, and he

said that dressings need an oil element and a sour element then you

can go from there.

Since you are traveling and dont have a fridge, he suggests making a

vinagrette using 2 tbsp raw apple cider vinegar and 1/4 cup cold

pressed sesame oil and adding 1/8 cup raw agave nectar followed by

celtic sea salt and pepper to taste. Add raw sesame seeds for texture

None of these ingredients will go bad and you can put the vinagrette

in a Tupperware type container with a spout and and you are ready to go.

Cheers
