Remember the first televised presidential debates in 1960 between Nixon and

Kennedy? Who was the sponsor? League of Women Voters, a NONpartisan

organization. Who runs the debates now? A BIpartisan committee. See the

difference a " small " shift in language can make?

Elchanan,

I'm glad you posted this.

My son actually(who is 15 and upset that he can't vote yet) had been

researching ALL the candidates and very much likes Ron Paul.

I'd like to fight for him too-I've gotten very apathetic because of

the 2 party system...but its time for me to change that even if its

just to make my son proud of me.

It's too defeatist to stay silent...so thanks for the the info and the

post.
