Guest guest Posted July 24, 2007 Report Share Posted July 24, 2007 I would just like to further correct this: you CAN actually see the human egg...it is about 1/10'th mm (100 microns) in diameter...it IS the size of the head of a pin. I haven't seen one myself, but I have read books showing the size, and it is easy to look up on the net. Yes it is a single cell, but it is no normal cell!
