Guest guest
Hi Jenny, I sent the links privately. Regarding consumption of enough fruits, please see post #29100, as well as other writings in the archive about transitioning. See also posts about bananas. Regarding emotional challenges, I invite you to listen to our of a free audio program entitled " Do I Have Two Minds, Or What? !! " , offered by the Path of Health Community. You can download this program at: http://snipurl.com/two_minds This program may give you some food for thought (as it were), a foundation from which you can begin moving forward. Best, Elchanan _____ rawfood [rawfood ] On Behalf Of othersideofthegarden Thursday, July 19, 2007 11:26 AM rawfood [Raw Food] Re: Questions on mental fuzziness and fasting as a couple Hello Elchanan Many of the things that you suggested are all very probable causes. I have been journalling for the last few days and prayed about this and I think that an unresolved issue with my Mom may be a large contributing factor to this. In the past, I would have been content to just bury all that has happened inside myself, and accept the alienation that has occured and not to allow myself to deal with or feel the grief. I no longer feel that this is what I want to do with this, but do not know how to proceed. This is totally foreign territory to me. I read and pondered your response for a while, then I asked dh, who has previously posted here under the username Gexter. His thoughts were that we need to find some quiet time where we could sit and discuss things and bring them in the open. While I definatley see the value in this, my thoughts are that we have already done that, and I am a " doer " by nature, so how is talking alone going to resolve this. Seeing that this aspect of my dilema is not related to raw food, I guess it may not be an appropriate place to find answers, although I am not sure where to turn. In the realm of raw foods, I think that I perhaps may not be getting enough calpries, based on what my previous experience with Nutridiary showed, as well as reading what other people are consuming. I probably should be eating more fruit, but I am not a huge fan of fruit, so I try bt then I hit a saturation point, and can't seem to eat anymore. Hopefully it will improve in time, as I already eat more fruit than I have in the past. I would be intersted on your tutorial on using Nutridiary. Perhaps I was not using it to its fullest potential. Thank you for your thoughts. I know that this is more than just about food and even though I am always reminding others of this, I needed that reminder myself. Sincerely, Jenny
