Guest guest
Hi Jenny, We would need more information about you before being able to understand what is happening. I saw someone recommend the Master Cleanse. But we do not yet comprehend the problem, it is misguided (or worse) to be discussing solutions. It is possible that something(s) has shifted recently ... the amount you eat, the specific foods and/or combinations, the way you are sleeping, stress ... work, money, relationship, children ..., or the like. Perhaps you could think back ... just lie down, close your eyes, breathe comfortably, and ask your mind to bring into your conscious awareness whatever may have shifted. Perhaps give this instruction just before going to sleep for a couple of nights. It is also possible that you have reached a point where you've peeled away enough " armor " (by removing the drugs for several weeks) that now various unresolved archival feelings are surfacing. Just as with physical cleansing, your mind deals with things in accordance its own priorities, as you become strong enough, aware enough, etc. And when such unresolved feelings rise to the surface, often people feel tired, distracted, disoriented, etc. It is also possible that you are not consuming enough calories. Have you logged into www.nutridiary.com and maintained a food diary for a few days? If not, try it, please. We (the Path of Health Community) have a tutorial on this; write to me is you wish to use it, as we have not yet officially released this publication. Best, Elchanan _____ rawfood [rawfood ] On Behalf Of othersideofthegarden Wednesday, July 18, 2007 10:11 PM rawfood [Raw Food] questions on mental fuzziness and fasting as a couple I have been 100% raw since March 21, 2007, and I have been feeling much better, but for the last couple of weeks I haven't felt as well as I think I should be. I don't have the energy or the get up and go that I was initially experiencing. I also seem to be mentally fuzzy and depressed and seem to get overwhelmed quite easily. I have contemplated fasting for a while now, but have been unsure of what type of fast, water ,juicing, etc., and how long to fast. DH was also thinking of fasting, and it would be great to be able to support each other through this, but would it be better for each of us to fast separately so that we aren't both burnt out at the same time, assuming that we would become burnt out and tired. I would appreciate any feedback. Jenny
Guest guest
Thanks, Deb. I know we have a copy of the book here somewhere. My husband has done it in the past. I will try to find it and read through it. Jenny rawfood , " Deb B. " <debstar wrote: > > I would recomend the Master Cleanse. Drinking the lemonade really kept my my energy up even when teaching three consecutive aerobic classes during my fast of 34 days. The usual length of the fast is 10 days, but many start with three or five days. > If you aren't familiar with it, just look up Master cleanse on the internet search engines. > I still use the lemonade for an energy drink even when I am not fasting (beats coffee anyday) > >
Guest guest
Hello Elchanan Many of the things that you suggested are all very probable causes. I have been journalling for the last few days and prayed about this and I think that an unresolved issue with my Mom may be a large contributing factor to this. In the past, I would have been content to just bury all that has happened inside myself, and accept the alienation that has occured and not to allow myself to deal with or feel the grief. I no longer feel that this is what I want to do with this, but do not know how to proceed. This is totally foreign territory to me. I read and pondered your response for a while, then I asked dh, who has previously posted here under the username Gexter. His thoughts were that we need to find some quiet time where we could sit and discuss things and bring them in the open. While I definatley see the value in this, my thoughts are that we have already done that, and I am a " doer " by nature, so how is talking alone going to resolve this. Seeing that this aspect of my dilema is not related to raw food, I guess it may not be an appropriate place to find answers, although I am not sure where to turn. In the realm of raw foods, I think that I perhaps may not be getting enough calpries, based on what my previous experience with Nutridiary showed, as well as reading what other people are consuming. I probably should be eating more fruit, but I am not a huge fan of fruit, so I try bt then I hit a saturation point, and can't seem to eat anymore. Hopefully it will improve in time, as I already eat more fruit than I have in the past. I would be intersted on your tutorial on using Nutridiary. Perhaps I was not using it to its fullest potential. Thank you for your thoughts. I know that this is more than just about food and even though I am always reminding others of this, I needed that reminder myself.
