Guest guest
Hi, Hoping someone can shed some light on this for me. I have been 100% raw for 131 days. No cheating whatsoever. I felt great until Wednesday night. In the evening I got this weird headache, it is kind of above my left eye more towards the hairline. It is like a stabbing pain that comes and goes but is always " there " if you know what I mean. It is day three and I am getting very frustrated with it. I don't take any kinds of drugs such as advil, etc. That is driving my husband crazy. He eats them like candy. He also wants me to run to the doctor because I never get headaches and he is concerned. Any ideas? Detoxing still? I started out at 122 lbs and went to 105 where I stayed until last week, then eating the same things went to about 100. I am 5'2 so it isn't really as thin as it sounds. Thanks for any input. Laura -Laura www.evescupboard.blogspot.com www.rawteacher.com/lauralee/ Bored stiff? Loosen up... Download and play hundreds of games for free on Games. Hi Laura, Not that I've been raw for any significant period of time, but I do tend to get migraines a lot, and this sounds very much like what I experience for some of them. Drink plenty of water, even if you don't feel like it, or don't feel overly thirsty. Just sip it, but often. Rest as much as you can, lying comfortably with your eyes closed. Some triggers I've noticed include flickering light - usually sunlight while driving in the afternoon, when the sun itself is low enough that I can see it through the windscreen; not enough water; not enough sleep and/or rest. Foods can also play a part, but I'll let others comment on those, as I really don't know enough to know what I'm talking about in terms of raw, or in terms of those on the lower end of the weight scale, given that I'm twice the woman you are ;o) (in weight only, I'm sure!). Having suffered frequent migraines for years, I really hope you feel better soon! Caron
