And since the drugs have become integral to his diet, any cleanup of his diet must include cleanup of all the drugs. We use euphemisms throughout our culture to create the illusion that we are not doing what we are doing. In this case, we say that we " take " drugs, when in fact, we eat them. He has a duffle bag full of meds he carries everywhere with him. It's possible. He has several different doctors as well.
