Well I decided to try a salad with some fruit on it instead of some

kind of dressing.

I baught a bag of various lettuces with some shredded carrots in it.

I put on some pumpkin seeds (that I am not real fond of, but don't want

to waste them) and then topped it off with some very ripe, juicy

peaches, a few sliced strawberries and some blue berries.

I wasn't expecting much as far as taste goes,(I figured it was just

going to taste like the smoothies that I make) but it looked real

pretty and so colorful.

Anyway, it was delicious! The sweet juicy fruits chewed up with the

lettuce was such a suprising delight. Even the pumpkin seeds chewed in

with it was quite a unique and suprising taste.

The more I chewed everything, the better it tasted. The flavors mixed

so well.

I see what El keeps saying about chewing your foods and not pre

blending them.

Even though I drink smoothies, which are pretty much the same thing,

(minus the pumpkin seeds and carrots) all blended in the blender.

It still tasted very different seperated out like this.

All that chewing made my jaws tired and achey (I have some TMJ issues

as well as dull back teeth from caps that were put on them)

but it was so worth it.

As long as I can get my hands on sweet juicy fruits, who needs dressing?

I can't believe the restaraunts have not picked up on this to serve to

customers.

Belinda

(who can't wait to eat this again)
