Too long have we heard from raw food gurus that we should just eat the vegetables or fruits as they come to us (some even suggest that we should not even cut them, if we can avoid it) It is wonderful to hear from someone who thinks it is okay to " process faw food " , by making it up into recipes which bely the raw food ingredients' original color and shape. Even better, Tev has actually stood up for the creative aspect of developing raw food recipes. I know many wonderful people who have decided that running into the kitchen and grabbing a banana is enough meal preparation for them. (yeah, I know, I was in graduate school once... not time to process food) I have always held that it is okay to create recipes more " complicated than put blueberries on top of the bananas " and " chop tomatoes and eat them with the chard " . (I am sure this was not immediately clear in the collection of recipes I have culled from the list's archives and, also, from my travels, as well as from my own collection). I do, of course, believe that it is wise to adhere to food combining rules when creating recipes and/or using them in meals with other food.
