It has been estimated that as many as one third of deaths due to cancer may

directly relate to the type of food you eat. Unfortunately, the typical American

diet consisting of highly processed food and fatty cuts of meat are exactly the

type of food which may cause cancer.

There are many foods and herbs available that contain an abundance of cancer

fighting properties and should be included in as many meals as possible on a

daily basis.

Cruciferous Vegetables: Such as broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and cauliflower

contain substances called sulforaphanes and indole-3-carbinols which help remove

carcinogenic toxins from the body, thereby preventing cancerous cells from

transforming into full blown tumors. When preparing these vegetables, either

gently steam or stir-fry to avoid destroying their cancer fighting substances.
